Young Musician of the Year 2025

Our Young Musician of the Year competition final will take place on Thursday 29^th May 2025 at Giffnock South Parish Church (2 Greenhill Ave, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 6QX) beginning at 6pm. We invite all parents, carers, friends and family of Williamwood to come along and enjoy an evening of wonderful music.

The standard of the competition this year has been outstanding with almost 50 applicants auditioning. The final categories include 6 finalists from across all year groups in 3 categories:

 

• Grade 1-4 category
• Grade 5-7 category
• Grade 8+

 

If your son/daughter has successfully made it through to the final this year, this will have been communicated in person or via Google Classroom. An email with the details in regards to the final has been sent out to the finalists parents/carers.

 

If you would like to attend, tickets can be purchased in advance via parent pay (https://app.parentpay.com/ParentPayShop/Uniform/Default.aspx?shopid=581) or can be purchased by card or cash at the door on the evening. Adult tickets are £5 and concessions are £3.

 

There will also be a raffle which tickets can be purchased on the night. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
